The U.S. Office of Science and Technology Policy has issued two calls for public comment. One deals with policies for access to journal articles reporting on federally funded research. This is a time when your voice can be heard in government. It's particularly important for those of you (cough chemists and physiologists cough) who are part of societies that are spreading hate and discontent about the topic instead of communicating rationally (like, for example, the physics societies).
